Gem’s Jams Terms & Conditions

Please read our terms and conditions carefully. By making a booking or attending any classes or events you agree to accept and abide by these terms.

Bookings
Booking and payment in advance is required to ensure a place at the class. A place is not secured for you unless the session is paid for and you have had an email confirming your place.

Please be aware that whilst we do accept last minute ‘walk-ins’ to the sessions, we cannot guarantee that a place will be available, on arrival, even if you have been informed recently by email or phone that spaces are available. Walk-ins will be allocated any remaining places available, based on a first come first serve basis.

Cancellations and refunds
By participating in our classes you agree that refunds will not be issued due to sickness, holiday leave, ‘Acts Of God’ or ‘Force Majeure’.

Once a class has been paid for, a space will be held for you and it will not be given to anyone else. If you miss a session we are unable to give refunds or carry over any missed classes to future bookings.

If by any unfortunate circumstances a class is cancelled by the class leader, you will be informed of the options available to you to make up the class.

Safety
Gem’s Jams is covered with public liability insurance.

For safety reasons, any child attending our sessions must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please supervise your child (or children) closely during the session and particularly during the use of props and equipment.

We reserve the right to exclude a Parent and/or Carer and/or child from a class permanently, or for the time we feel necessary, due to behaviour that is not deemed acceptable or safe within a class.

Liability
No liability can be accepted for any incident that occurs due to the above guidance not being followed.

The Parent and/or Carer assumes any risks in participating in the class and accepts responsibility for any injury sustained by themselves or their child. You also agree to release Gem’s Jams from liability associated with accidents or damage caused to property of any kind not belonging to the venue.

We take no responsibility for any loss, damage or expense incurred by a child and or accompanying adult whilst participating in a class or whilst on the premises of where a class is taking place.

Photography and Video
From time to time we may request to take photographs or shoot video during classes to use for marketing and promotional purposes, which may include, but is not limited to, use on social media, promotional materials or our website. You will be asked at, or prior to the first class where this takes places whether or not you consent to being included in these images or footage and images and usage will be in relation to our privacy policy that can be found on our website www.gemsjams.com

Where images are used in this way no additional personal information or names will be linked to them, unless specific additional permission is sought from the individuals involved.

Gem’s Jams is happy for you to take photographs of your own child during classes. If you wish for another child to be in the picture please seek permission from the adult accompanying that child before taking pictures.

Changes to our Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to make amendments to our Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect changes in our business or statutory obligations. The new version will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting. If applicable these changes will be communicated to all our customers by email. If you use our website after the new Terms and Conditions have come into effect this indicates your agreement to be bound by them.
