Safety with Props

The use of props can greatly enhance the songs, movement and fun during a class! Encouraging little ones to hold, use, and play with the props will help them engage in the music – either singing or listening; and can also help them feel less inhibited!

We kindly ask that adults supervise and participate in the classes to ensure props and instruments are being used safely. Gem’s Jams cannot be held responsible for misuse of equipment, and can take no responsibility for accidents or injuries to you or your child. As we are a fun, lively group of mixed ages, some of the props and instruments may not be suitable for unsupervised play for under 3s. If, at any time, you would prefer not to use one of our props or feel it is not suitable for your child on that occasion, please do opt out for that song.

Please be advised that we use bubble mixture in class: any children who are sensitive to bubbles or suffer allergic reactions to the mixture should avoid contact. Please let us know before the class begins.
